Snow Event on February 8th

Once again the Twin Cities is under the siege of a Winter Storm Warning. All customers will be getting plowed and shoveled today and tomorrow. Plowing will be going on throughout the day today, shoveling will be either tonight or tomorrow morning for everyone. Plowing will go through the route during the day today and overnight tonight as most customers will see there drives plowed two times. This is due to the longevity of the storm, it is supposed to continue dumping snow all the way through today and tonight.

Early reports have Fridley at 3.1 inches of snow as of 8AM this morning. The Twin Cities airport has yet to report a specific total. Please be careful today as traffic and poor conditions will be the story of the day.



Snow Event on February 5th

Snow has once again fallen on the Twin Cities. The National Weather Service out of Chanhassen reported 1.8 inches over most of Hennepin County. That report was this morning at 6AM. Snow has been lightly falling since than. Due to those reports and conditions we will be servicing all customers overnight tonight. Plowing and Shoveling will be performed within 12 hours and 24 hours respectively.

Snow Event for February 1st

Everyone will be getting plowed and shoveled this evening. Plowing and shoveling will start around 3 AM. That time is the projected time that the snow will be concluded. The Twin Cities has recieved snowfall amounts of 2″ and above in most areas. Minneapolis airport in Richfield area reported 1.6″ of accumulation as 8:45PM this evening with the snow still accumulating.

Remember that Snow plowing is within 12 hours and snow shoveling is within 24 hours of the start time.  Call Peter Doran Lawn and Landscaping at 763-315-0052 if you would like a one time or to comment on service.



Snow Event for January 25th

All the one inch customers will be snow removed today. The snowfall for this evening has been a little over one inch. 2 inch customers will not be plowed or shoveled, just the one inch customers.

Minneapolis airport reported just over one inch of snowfall.



Snow Event 1-7-2010

Our crews left at 11 AM this morning to take care of the 1″ customers. The Twin Cities missed the larger amounts of snow that the Minnesota River Valley. Most areas are just around 1 inch of snowfall, whereas the valley has had up to 6 inches of snow.  Gusts of high wind speeds are up to 25 mph so be careful when traveling and doing activities outside.  Winchill is -7.  These reports are from the Minneapolis National Weather Service and the Crystal airport.

Please remember that it can take up to 12 hours to complete snow removal from your driveway and 24 hours to complete snow removal from your sidewalks.



Snow Event For the 24th of December

Snow crews are out in full force today as the Twin Cities was hit with the first round of what is supposed to be a large storm. Snow plowing and shoveling started at 6 AM for all customers, so look for crews today.

New Hope had 6.3 inches of snow reported by the NWS, Bloomington had 6.1, and Chaska reported 5.8.



Aerations, Fall Seeding, Hydroseeding

Aerations, Fall Seeding, and Hydroseeding season has officially started today at Peter Doran Lawn and Landscaping. If you would like service but have not signed up yet, please call us at the office at (763) 315-0052. The season should last most of the month of September and a little into October, here in the Twin Cities.

Fall contracts along with snow contracts (yes snow already), will be coming out in the mail next week!
