After a lot of warnings and crazy forecasts, the Twin Cities has been left with 1″ of accumulations. Some spots may have gotten 1.5″ or a little higher. 1″ customers will be taken care of over night. We are starting plowing and shoveling services for those customers at 11PM.

To the extreme north and west areas of the state there were much higher snow totals than in the metro.

February 26th Local Storm Report and Plowing

We are Plowing all customers this evening. Snow has reached anywhere from 4-7 inches this evening in the largest snowfall of the season to date. We are starting plowing and shoveling services at 9:30 PM this evening. Please remember that Plowing will be done within 12 hours and shoveling within 24 hours. Plowing and shoveling both may take slightly longer due to the amount of snow and the windy conditions.

Snow got a late start this morning as dry air prevailed over the Metro. At noon snowfall was prevelant over the cities and at some points there were snowfall rates of nearly 3 inches per hour!
